Schedule Updates

The Year 6 charts were updated to remove God's Smuggler from the free read list since it was added to Spiritual Formation in a later year.  That change was missed when the charts were originally updated after the change.

We just uploaded revised schedules for Years 3, 1, IA, IB, and IC.

Year 3 had a significant change to the schedule for The Heroes.  The chart now schedules that book based on the new book by Anne White which divides it into lessons.  The old schedule for The Heroes is still available here in the forum in the Resources > Links and Downloads area.

Year 1 had a significant change to the Old Testament schedule.  We've been fine-tuning that.

Year IA from AO for Groups incorporated one term of the new schedule for The Heroes plus the changed Old Testament schedule from Year 1.

Years IB and IC from AO for Groups incorporated the new schedule for The Heroes.

I just uploaded new charts for Years 5 and 6.  The changes back in May had made one term of each of those years spill onto a second page.  Since that was a hassle for some people, I tightened up the information on that page for each schedule to make it fit on a single page.

The AO for Groups (AO4Groups) Form I schedules have had a small change.  In Form I A, B, and C, each term has had some readings that are marked as Optional - For Older Students.  These readings are for the oldest students in the form, the students who will be moving on to Form II or Year 4 next school year.  They are stretching readings that would be too much for the younger students in the form, but which will help prepare the oldest students for Form II (or Year 4).

We've adjusted those optional extra readings so they are more evenly distributed across terms and across years in Form I.  Here's how it works now:

Form I A - The oldest students, those who will move on next year, will read all of The Heroes and selections from Secrets of the Woods in each of the three terms.

Form I B - The oldest students, those who will move on next year, will read all of The Heroes and selections from Secrets of the Woods in each of the three terms.

Form I C - The oldest students, those who will move on next year, will read one story from The Heroes in Term 1, all of Children of the New Forest in Terms 2 and 3, and selections from Secrets of the Woods in each of the three terms.  In this year, the oldest students will not read the entire book of The Heroes but will read one complete section.

I've uploaded the new charts, and Leslie has changed the schedule pages on the website.

Year 11 and Year 11 Lite were both just changed to correct an error in the Term 1 schedule for Proverbs.

Year 12 booklist, schedule, and charts have had a speech added in Week 32.

The chart just has a label for the speech, but the link to YouTube is on the website schedule.

Updates to chart schedules for Years 4, 5, 8, 9, and 10 Lite.

Fixed Age of Fable in Weeks 13-15 in Year 5, as well as minor correction for Abe Lincoln's World.
Fixed typo in Age of Fable in Year 4 Week 20.
Fixed typo in Week 2 of Year 9 Old Testament.
Replaced Northanger Abbey with Emma in free read list on Year 8.
Added Douglass Essay in Term 2 of Year 10 Lite.
