Miss F. Blogg, Secretary, P.N.E.U., Central Office, having been ordered a long holiday, her place will be filled until 15th December by Miss J. M. Russell.

The Office will be closed from August 1st to September 12th. Only important letters can be answered.

Business letters re Parents' Review School, Mothers' Education Course and House of Education cannot be answered between August 1st and September 15th, during which time the House of Education will be closed.

House of Education.--The new term begins on September 30th.

The Library Committee have decided to call in all the books for revision of the catalogue. The Library therefore will be closed during the months of October and November. All members are requested to return Library books before October 1st.

This first edition of Mrs. Bridges' New Handwriting is sold out. The second edition will be out in September. Mrs. Bridges will kindly supply it herself to members of the Parents' Review School for 2/9, including postage. Address--Yattendon, Newbury.

In the first edition of the New Handwriting there is a misleading mis-print in the third line of the "Instructions," where 1/4 was printed, in mistake of 1/2 of an inch.

It is satisfactory to note that the course of lectures to be given in London next autumn, by Mr. C. Carus-Wilson, under the auspices of the P.N.E.U. (as advertised in the Parents' Review), is likely to be well supported, over two hundred having already expressed a desire to take tickets. There is evidently a strong feeling that children should have an opportunity of obtaining an elementary knowledge of the wonders of creation such as will be afforded by these lectures.
