Hi,

When I edit posts, I have an option to delete the entire post. I tried to use that tonight and received the following message:

You do not have permission to access this page. This could be because of one of the following reasons:

Your account has either been suspended or you have been banned from accessing this resource.

You do not have permission to access this page. Are you trying to access administrative pages or a resource that you shouldn't be? Check in the forum rules that you are allowed to perform this action.

Your account may still be awaiting activation or moderation. (Resend Activation Code)

You have accessed this page directly rather than using appropriate forms or link.

You are currently logged in with the username: 'Christo et Doctrinae'

Do regular (non-mod) users not have the option of deleting their own posts?
I think that might be the case (and I think there was a good reason for it, if I remember correctly). Phyllis or Leslie would have to confirm that.
That's right. If you really need to get rid of something you wrote, edit and take the text out. Or, if it's a double post or something like that, ask a moderator to delete it. We had a few instances of people accidentally deleting or posts "just disappearing," so we changed the settings a while ago.
