| Private Groups |
| Private Groups are invisible in the main forum because of the nature of the discussions.
To join a Private group and make it visible go to “Control Panel” (UserCP) (top left of the screen). Under “Miscellaneous” click on “Group Memberships.” Here you will see a list of all the private groups you can join. Click on “Join Group” to request to join a group, and once a moderator has approved your request that group will become visible to you in the main forum. The Buy/Sell area and the Hot Topics area are not private areas, but they do have restricted access. Your user title has to be higher than New Member to post in Buy/Sell or to view Hot Topics, and it has to be even higher to post in Hot Topics. User Titles change automatically based on the number of forum posts (including comments) you have made. |
