RE: printing without logo - lklivingston - 03-18-2025 MichelleDee, can you try right-clicking in the body of the page instead of using the keyboard commands? The keyboard command should work similarly to choosing Print from the menu. I'd like to know what happens if you try right-clicking instead. I don't have a Mac, so I can't test it myself. I don't have a Mac, so I can't test it myself. there is no right-click option on my trackpad. :- ) (which is one reason why I don't use my DDs PC laptop, I hit the track pad wrong ALL of the time and mess everything up.) RE: printing without logo - lklivingston - 03-18-2025 Interesting. I can right click and left click on my laptop's pad. I'm going to assume that is why it isn't printing correctly for you, unless someone else tells me more. But I don't know why it recently changed. How recently do you think that change happened? The website did have some design changes a few months ago. RE: printing without logo - amerebreath - 03-18-2025 I’ve seen people on Facebook struggling with it as well recently. It was the same complaint-that what they had always done before was no longer working. It works for some people still, so please ask people for those details and report them here. Otherwise we can't figure it out. RE: printing without logo - Sammie2 - 03-18-2025 I'm on a PC Windows 11. In Brave browser, if I right click and print, it brings up the same dialogue box as when I use the print from the menu. Either way, it shows the logo at the top of every page, in the left corner, covering text. If I select what I want to print and print "selection only", the logo goes away. On my Firefox browser, I don't have the option to right-click print. If I use the menu print, it does the same thing with the logo in the top left covering words, but I can print using either "selection only" or "simplified." Here is a screen shot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1B8dlVfM6tKq8igfvEnnfgsjZlhsPR0y8/view?usp=sharing I believe this started happening with the recent website changes. A lot of websites have this kind of floating banner that does the same thing. RE: printing without logo - lklivingston - 03-18-2025 https://amblesideonline.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=57520 I poked the people who may be able to fix this, back when this earlier thread was posted, and I just poked again.
