OP in reply message? - Read4kicks - 08-14-2012

When I click reply to a post, that post shows up in the reply box as a quote. I have been deleting that content before posting (as in the email lists) but is there another way to be sure my replies don't contain the whole text of the post I'm replying to? Sorry, that sounds convoluted, but I don't want to clutter things up accidentally. Thanks!

The "reply" button you are clicking is inside the text box of the person who posted, and it apparently should maybe be labelled "Quote" instead of "reply" right there. What you are looking for is the "new reply" button below the OP and other posts.

The quick reply field at the bottom works as well!
