Where do the time stamps on private messages come from? - TammyinTX - 08-01-2012

The time stamps on the two private messages I received this afternoon seem off Both indicate they were from 11 am-ish this morning, but both had to be sent in the p.m. as one was a response to a PM that I sent this afternoon and the other a PM to a post I made in the late afternoon.

So, are the time stamps originated from the sender's computer time or from the forum server or from somewhere else?

The stamps look correct on my end. Have you set your time in User CP? Generally the time stamps on the forum come from the time you have set in User CP.

Thank you! - TammyinTX - 08-01-2012

I never would have thought to set the time in the UCP.

Yay! Thanks. Tammy I'm so glad you asked because I had noticed mine was wrong but didn't take the time to figure out how to fix it. My time is now correct (thanks Kathy). The little things make me smile this morning. :)
