Sorry if I am in the wrong forum for this question, but will all the files in the AO groups in Yahoo also be transferred to the forum? Is that even possible? overwhelming? necessary? I ask in my ignorance for how these things work.

It's in process now. You can see some of them in the Resources stickies in various subforums, as well as in the Links and Downloads area. We're still working out details about how these will be organized to make them easy to find and easy to keep up.
