Announcements/More about "Celebrate AO!"
It's one year from now!
Here are some more details -

When?
June 4-6, 2026

Where?
The Gatlinburg Convention Center, Gatlinburg, TN.

What is happening?
It's the 25th anniversary of the launch of AmblesideOnline. Our speakers will be members of AmblesideOnline's founding Advisory - Donna-Jean Breckenridge, Karen Glass, Leslie Laurio, and Anne White, as well as the members of AmblesideOnline's Auxiliary - Kathy Livingston, Lani Siciliano, Brandy Vencel, Naomi Goegan, Phyllis Hunsucker, and Amy Tuttle. We'll have some guest speakers, too - including Cindy Rollins. There will be some plenary sessions, many breakouts, and some special moments: a time to remember AO Advisory members Lynn Bruce and Wendi Capehart, and a dinner theater of a three-act one-woman play by Donna-Jean Breckenridge called "Charlotte Mason: In Her Own Words."

Who is this for?
In order to accommodate the many who are coming, we are limiting our attendees to homeschooling/teaching moms and nursing babes-in-arms (this includes veteran homeschool moms, who will have a role in mentoring others).

What about families?
There will be meet-ups for dads and families who wish to get together and enjoy Gatlinburg while the moms are at "Celebrate AO!"

What if I just can't come?
We are looking into livestreaming some portions of "Celebrate AO!"

Where will I stay?
We'll have some suggestions. There are many types of lodging all throughout Gatlinburg. We expect to also have blocks of some discounted hotel rooms.

How much will this cost?
We don't have the price yet, but we're working to make it as reasonable as possible. There will be some meals included as well.

When can I register?
We'll announce dates for registration later this summer.

What can I do to help?
Pray for us and for this event! And - watch this space. We're looking for people with some specific skill sets, and we'll be posting a 'help wanted' very soon.

See you in one year, as we "Celebrate AO!"

Alas, as our wedding anniversary is June 3, we won't make it to TN (and 20 years!) So I hope, hope, hope y'all can figure out some livestreaming.

We don't have a track for teens. However, if families come and stay in the area, we're hoping to have meet-ups for Dads and supervised teens/kids.
