Joan of Arc (year 7) week 6 reading

We are working on Week 6 of Year 7. Chapters 8 and 9 of Book 1 are assigned for this week, but I only see a chapter 8 and then my copy (and another that I've checked online) go right on to Book 2. Is there a Chapter 9 in Book 1? What am I missing? Thanks so much.

The assignment says to read chapters 8 and 9, but I don't see a chapter 9. Is this a typo? Chapter 8 seems too short to stand by itself. I'm feeling like I'm missing something. Thanks!

I'm seeing that Joan of Arc doesn't start until Week 13 in YR7 and in Week 16, it shows "Twain's Joan of Arc Book I ch 7-8, Book II ch 1-2" Are you sure you're looking at the right week?

Thanks so much for your help. I hadn't thought about looking for it on the regular Year 7 schedule. I was just searching both versions in Lite. We're following the Year 7 Lite. For week 6 it assigns ch. 8 and 9. Then, for week 7 it assigns Book 2 ch. 1-3. I think the 9 is a misprint. Thanks again. Have a great day!

It looks like you are doing the lite version then as Joan of Arc starts at the beginning of the year in that version, but in the 2nd term in the full version.
In the full version, it doesn't list a chapter 9. I also have the book and am using the full schedule with modifications and my book doesn't have a chapter 9. It must just be a typo. I would just try to even the readings out some and maybe add chapter 1 of book 2 in with chapter 8 for the weeks readings.

Thanks, Laura. I figured it out. Chapter 9 is a misprint. I posted it over in the tech. group as well. Book 2 starts the next week with books 1-3. Thanks again and have a great day!
