Tech Support (Parent and Student Access)/Buying from amazon.co.uk and helping AO?
08-29-2021, 06:33 AM
I try not to use amazon as they barely pay tax in the UK, but there are some things, like Anne's Plutarch guides, which I can't get anywhere else, so I'd love to help AO while buying. However, the links from here are to amazon.com, and then I don't know how to get to amazon UK while staying in the ao session. Is it possible to do this from here?

Update: I have found where to click to get from amazon USA to.amazon UK, but still unsure if this will still count for affiliate support of ao, especially since, on my phone, it actually opens the amazon app! Anyone have any idea?

Everything I’m reading says that unless AO has specific universal links, then it won’t matter. Affiliate links only refer to the country that they signed up for when they made them.
I have hesitated to post because I’m still not completely sure but I think they’d have to change every link over on the entire website to universal links.

I also think that the US affiliate link won't work in the UK. I think when we originally set this up, there wasn't a universal link.

They should set up a stripe account so we can randomly send them money...

That's very sweet, but AO is fully funded right now.
