I tried changing my avatar photo so it is actually of me, and it is sideways. I tried rotating the photo before uploading, and it's still sideways! Any way to fix this?

I didn't even have to crop it; all I did was open it in a photo editing program, rotate it, and then save it. Apparently rotating it on the desktop wasn't enough! Thanks for the idea... it led me to the answer.
