I've noticed a few times that the list of who's on the forum at the bottom of the page says, "Applebot" and "Google". Since in another thread we had been wondering about AI access to the forum, I thought I would mention it. When I looked, it looked like they had accessed only the public areas of the forum, but I don't know for sure. And all this may be nothing. I enjoy computers and how they work but can also be surprisingly tech illiterate.

They only have access to the public areas.

My tech knowledge plus pessimism tells me Google et al. have already crawled most sites, private or not.
