Hello, 
When I try to join a forum I get a msg that says I am not authorized to view this content. Do I need a separate registration for the AO Forums?

If you go to your User CP and click on that, then click on Group Memberships you'll see a big list of all the special forums.

You just have to ask by clicking Join and someone will get back to you.
