For we are God’s handiwork, recreated in Christ Jesus, that we may do those good works which God predestined for us, that we should walk in them.

The first * link for Vivaldi's Concerto in D Major for Guitar says the video is no longer available because the YouTube account has been terminated.

5. Concerto in D major for Guitar * * or Mandolin in C major * * or Lute in D major * *

I'm compiling hymn and folk song scores for next year, and there is a discrepancy between the text and recordings on August 2026: "Awake, My Soul and With the Sun."

While it makes sense that the whole hymn might have originally been sung to the Old Hundredth tune, given the Doxology component, both of the videos linked use Francois Barthelemon's "Morning Hymn" tune.

I scrolled through every scanned hymnal page posted on Hymnary and did not see a single one that uses Old Hundredth; Morning Hymn is the overwhelming majority and Tallis' Canon seems to be the only easily available alternate.

I propose that the entry be altered to acknowledge/recommend "Morning Hymn" as the setting of choice.

Both links for Chopin's Polonaise are broken/private.

6. Polonaise in A flat "Heroic" Op 53 * *

Maybe one of these would work as a substitute:

https://youtu.be/p1-uOCXQ_0I?si=ZGWVHBVYif-xGuls (Vladimir Horowitz)
https://youtu.be/p1-uOCXQ_0I?si=ZGWVHBVYif-xGuls (Rubinstein)

The Classics for Kids link at the bottom also gives a critical error. It looks like the error is internal to the website, as the button I would expect to send you to the shows about Chopin does nothing when you click it. I can only find these podcasts by searching in unaffiliated podcast apps.

Under Chopin, both these videos are unavailable (one says private access).

6. Polonaise in A flat "Heroic" Op 53 * *

Also, the first video linked for the piano concerto is unavailable:

Further Interest: Favorites in the Chopin-loving Advisory household include Berceuse in D-flat major op 57 * *, the 2nd movement of the first Piano Concerto * *

On the Feb. '26 Folksong page on the Archipelago site, under extra videos, the second link is wrongly attributed to Ella Fitzgerald. The song is performed by Ella Jenkins. I'd never heard Ella Jenkins, but my daughter's name is inspired by Ella Fitzgerald. While I'm personally grateful that the mis-type introduced me to Ella Jenkins, I suppose it should be fixed. :)

Wife (since 2007) to the quick-witted man of my dreams. Mom to a blue eyed boy (2012) with dimples, the answer to every riddle, and the best puns in the house and a curly haired girl (2013) with the sweetest face and a wicked side-eye, who will either rule the world or cover it with glitter.
