Announcements/Year 9 Booklist and Schedule Change

We are fine-tuning the HEO years. In Year 9, Sinclair Ferguson's book has been removed and Francis Schaeffer's book The God Who Was There has been spread across two terms. The chart schedules are not yet updated, nor is the master booklist.

Ferguson's book was removed because it didn't actually serve the purpose we'd hoped, and it's a tougher read than we wanted there. Also, this let us spread Schaeffer's book over a longer period, which should be beneficial.

When would this be better placed? Or would you recommend it being just removed completely? I really appreciated the book but agree it is a tougher read.

We removed it. We did not find that it fit even at high school level.

Which Ferguson book was removed? Was it the one called The Christian Life?

Never mind, I realize I have a copy of each year. Thanks for your work here.

I'm new to AO this year. Using year 9 for my son. I was so confused to find The Chirstian Life listed in the PDF schedule but not elsewhere (book list or master book list). I searched and found this thread which indicates that it was removed from the weekly schedule. I'm here to say, it is has not been completely removed.
