I think the placement on the homepage is new and cleaned up. I like the new banner for the conference. I can't speak to other changes...I just can tell it looks more streamlined and less cluttered.

We added something about the conference. Other than that, we've been catching up on fixing typos. No major cosmetic changes, but still an improvement.
