Anyone from the Chicago area? Are you driving or flying? I’m from Israel, but we may be doing an exchange with an University in Chicago at the time. So excited to be able to come!

I'm hoping to! (From PEI)
Since we won’t know for sure if we’ll come to the US or not till December, I will book my place at the retreat as if we will come. However, if it turns out that we were not selected for this particular grant and we won’t be able to come, can I sell my ticket to someone else that is on a waiting list?

Yes, the tickets are not refundable but they are transferable. I hope you can make it! Do you homeschool in Israel? I don’t know if I’ve heard of anyone else who does!

I would love to go (from ontario) but not sure if it will be possible yet.

You might also be on the lookout for local (or local-ish) conferences that are open to dads. We have one in Colorado, and our number of Dads in attendance has risen every year. Different conferences deal with different logistics, so if a live conference is really what your husband wants, they are out there.
AO also has recordings from the 2016 conference available for a small purchase price.
You can find them here. If you were going planning to go to the conference, maybe a weekend getaway at a local hotel would be possible. Listen to the recordings, chat, go to dinner... make your own little retreat for two!

Okay, why did I think you live in TX?? Did you move, or am I crazy?

Yes, we homeschool. There are very few of us here, but there are other families. We enjoy it a lot, even though there are no coops etc. we are well connected with people in other ways. God is very good to us.

Would it be okay to register my graduated 19 yo dd who occasionally helps me homeschool to the AO spring retreat?
