Tech Support (Parent and Student Access)/Forum Read (blue dot with arrow)
When I'm looking at my messages through forum subscription link, I am unable to mark the forum/subforum as 'read' by clicking the blue icon with the white arrow in it.

However, if I go directly to the forum/subforum and read it there, I am able to click the icon and mark the forum as 'read'.

I would much prefer to only have to go through the subscribed forum link because I have to wade through all of the other forums (...cuz I tend to get sidetracked and waste a lot of time when I have to do that!).

I'm using Firefox 14.0.1

If you open the thread it will mark as read even if you don't read it.

I agree. Not for me either. That only works for me on the main forum webpage, not on my personal "forum subscriptions" page.

(Being a real, "dot your i's and cross your t's" sort of girl, it is distressing to see so many blue dots remaining - not to mention that I can't really tell what I have read and what I have not read.)

I was going to ask this exact same question. I am so glad I looked here first!

LOL Yes! Me too! I like to see all of those blue dots gone so that I know I've thoroughly cleaned house!

I checked it again after Kathy said that I could do x,y,z to get rid of them, but it still didn't work. Glad you posted. Maybe it will eventually be resolved once Phyllis has time to get to such smaller issues. :)
