You might also be on the lookout for local (or local-ish) conferences that are open to dads. We have one in Colorado, and our number of Dads in attendance has risen every year. Different conferences deal with different logistics, so if a live conference is really what your husband wants, they are out there.

If you were going planning to go to the conference, maybe a weekend getaway at a local hotel would be possible. Listen to the recordings, chat, go to dinner... make your own little retreat for two!
