Added a note to Poor Richard to hopefully prevent people from buying the wrong book.

Just wanted to say thank you for making this list and posting it in an editable format. Also for updating it as time goes on. Such a gift! It is deeply appreciated.

The original list was actually made by someone from the forum, and we are so grateful! In fact, several people each made a list, and this format was the one we made official. We do appreciate all the work you all put in to helping each other and us.

The whole website and forum feel very old school internet, when the community was small and people were posting stuff that they genuinely thought would be useful, not commercial stuff. And keeping it in the forum instead of letting everything migrate to Facebook makes a big difference. The searchable text of the website and forum are a huge boon to usability.

What are the ways some of you view your lists on your smartphones? (And edit them.)
I am trying to figure out how to do this on an Android.

Upload it to your google drive.  You can have the Google Drive on your phone as an app.

I just removed Penrod from Year 6 free reads (and Form 2C of Groups) and Penrod and Sam from Year 7 free reads. I will update the charts for those years too.

I removed two Year 8 books listed as subs for Coffin for King Charles. They are not on the Year 8 booklist but were on the master list.

Thank you. I was trying to figure that out for Year 8. I have so many notes on my own copy of the master booklist that I need the reminder to check the changes!

Announcements/RE: Year 6 Schedule & Master Booklist
Hello, I am new to this and have been trying to figure out which books I need to order to get started this year for my 6th grader. I've been going back and forth between the year 6 booklist, and the year 6 schedule. But I've gotten a bit mixed up. On the year 6 scheduled weekly readings it says we will be reading The Story of the World and The Story of Mankind, but those two books were not listed on the Master Booklist for year 6. What's the easiest way to figure out which books I should go ahead and order? Thank you in advance for any and all help !!!   [Oopsies! I'm so embarrassed!]

Some books are used over more than one year, so you have to look at the column labeled Year, and watch for books that are listed in more than one year.

Story of the World is used in Years 5 and 6. On the master booklist, the Year column says "Year 5, 6" for that book.
Story of Mankind says "Year 4, 5, 6".

The booklist page on the website is probably easier to work off of if you're trying to gather books for a single year.
