The AO forum page now looks like an email site...Thought you might like to know.

I've been getting a warning from Firefox these past two days that the AO Security Certificate is invalid and could not be verified. I still get to the site and the forum, but I'm a little worried about the safety of my internet connection now!

Did the hosting change? Any thoughts?

I think I've found a mistake (maybe) on the Year 5 schedule. My booklist includes "Passion for the Impossible" or a Beatrix Potter bio. I chose the Potter bio and when I went to make the change on my downloaded schedule (SO glad to have that!!), I couldn't find the Passion book listed on the schedule.

Our latest addition to AO is that we have listed specific geography concepts to be taught "by the way" and scheduled them into different terms throughout Years 1-6. These have been added to our booklists, 36-week schedules and exams. The entire schedule is also outlined on this page:

I had a thread deleted and I was just curious why? Did it violate a term?

Tonight I had problems posting from my Asus Android Tablet on the MEP thread. I was posting fine on other ones - so I thought maybe because that thread had 25 pages.... but that wasn't it...

Because I went to put a new thread on here telling you the problem - and I couldn't make a new thread either.

But, as I said - I was able to make other posts.

(I was able to do the reply to the MEP thread, as well as do this new post on my desktop running Windows 7)

The symptoms occurred for both the Quick Reply Box and for an actual Reply box. I had an active cursor in the text box - but nothing would enter as I typed.

I've never had a problem before, so I suspect it is because of the update. That said, it will probably be hard to track down as I was able to enter some things... so who knows.

I just updated our forum software. It looks like now we have a little problem with logging in/out. I'm working on it....

This is the message I received when trying to post on a thread in hot topics sub forum. Am I doing something wrong?

Is there a way I could receive a daily email for each or all my subscriptions. I love to read what is going on, but I'm having a hard time keeping up with individual threads/emails.

I am wondering how the open buddy list works.

The other night I had been thinking of some of the wonderful posts I have received and thought to myself I would like to have a wider knowledge/friendship with some of these ladies. Is the open buddy list a way of doing this?

So apparently, I've managed to turn off private messages within the forum. I have no clue how I did this, but members can only contact me through email. I know I've sent and received messages on Forum before...

When I start a thread, as I'm now doing, I have all the nice little editing features/icons above and the emoticons to my left. When I post within a thread, I don't have those. How do I make those appear?
