Worldview Book Options
Many of these titles were listed on World magazine; the Advisory has not read most of these titles.
Every Young Man's Battle by Steve Arterburn (may be useful for a student who has an existing issue with lustful temptation; it's explicit: good for those who already have had a problem, but not as a preventative for somebody who hasn't. A more suitable and less explicit book might be Every Young Man God's Man by the same author. Another possibility in this subject area is Boyhood and Beyond by Bob Schultz. Created for Work might work for high school. One to look at: The Book of Man: Readings on the Path to Manhood by William Bennett. For girls, Beautiful Girlhood by Mabel Hale.)
Relativism - Feet Planted Firmly In Mid-Air by Francis Beckwith and Gregory Koukl
The Christian Mind: How should a Christian think? by Harry Blamires (one Advisory/Auxiliary member has read this and can recommend it)
Slouching Toward Gomorrah: Modern Liberalism and American Decline by Robert Bork (one Advisory/Auxiliary member has read this and can recommend it, but says it may be "dated")
The Revenge of Conscience: Politics and the Fall of Man by J. Budziszewski
What We Can't Not Know: A Guide by J. Budziszewski (one Advisory/Auxiliary member has read this and can recommend it)
How Now Shall We Live? by Chuck Colson and Nancy Pearcey (more than one Advisory/Auxiliary member has read this and can recommend it)
Acres of Diamonds by Russell Conwell 1890; only 53 pages.
Holy the Firm by Annie Dillard (one Advisory member does not think this is a Worldview book.)
TwentySomeone: Finding Yourself in a Decade of Transition by Craig Dunham and Doug Serven
Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl
Hammer of God by Bo Giertz (one Advisory member does not think this is a Worldview book.)
I Don't Have Enough Faith To Be An Atheist by Norm Geisler and Frank Turek
Peter Kreeft (more than one Advisory/Auxiliary member greatly respects Kreeft; Kreeft is very Catholic.)
Traveling Mercies: Some Thoughts on Faith by Anne Lamott
The Question of God: C.S. Lewis and Sigmund Freud Debate God, Love, S-x, and the Meaning of Life by Armand Nicoli (There is a PBS video series based on this book)
The Soul of Science: Christian Faith and Natural Philosophy by Nancy Pearcey and Charles Thaxton (more than one Advisory/Auxiliary member has read this and can recommend it)

How Should We Then Live?: The Rise and Decline of Western Thought and Culture by Francis Schaeffer (more than one Advisory/Auxiliary member has read this and consider this "must reading")
Whatever Happened to the Human Race? by Francis Schaeffer (more than one Advisory/Auxiliary member has read this and consider this "must reading," along with any other Schaeffer book)
Trilogy (which includes The God Who Is There), Francis Schaeffer- I would almost couple The God Who is There with Colson's How Now Shall We Live? which references Schaeffer a lot, if I remember correctly.
True Spirituality by Francis Schaeffer
How to be Your Own Selfish Pig by Susan Schaeffer-McCauley (This may be added to year 7 or 8)
Idols for Destruction: The Conflict of Christian Faith and American Culture by Herbert Schlossberg
Under the Influence: How Christianity Transformed Civilization by Alvin J. Schmidt
Habits of the Mind: Intellectual Life As a Christian Calling by James Sire (one Advisory/Auxiliary member has read this and recommend James Sire, but possibly later than high school)
The Universe Next Door: A Basic Worldview Catalog by James Sire (one Advisory/Auxiliary member has read this and recommend it for year 11 or 12. "content overlaps The Deadliest Monster a bit, but this is much more concise.")
God at Work, Your Christian Vocation in All of Life by Gene Edward Veith (The Advisory/Auxiliary have not read this, but they recommend Veith.)
Denis Waitley
Being Human: The Nature of Spiritual Experience by Ranald Macauley and Jerram Barrs (one Advisory/Auxiliary member has read this and can recommend it)
Why I Am A Christian: Leading Thinkers Explain Why They Believe by Norman Geisler and Paul Hoffman
These two are currently being considered for an AO Year, but listed as Devotional/Theology rather than Worldview:
Changed into His Image: God's Plan for Transforming Your Life by Jim Berg
The Rare Jewel of Christian Contentment by Jeremiah Burroughs
