Upper Years in Five Years

This is a way to squeeze in an extra year of AO between Years 7-11 so that students who started a year late can do Year 12 in their final year of high school. Year 12 is preparation to go out into the world, and this plan enables even students who are a year behind to spend their last year of high school with AO's Year 12 material.

Do not attempt to combine these plans to cram six years of content in three or four years. These are rich ideas for pondering and building character, and there are no short-cuts for that.

There are two options for doing AO's Upper Years in Five Years:

Plan One:
Last year of middle school: do Years 7-8-9 in Two Years, first year
Freshman year of high school: do Years 7-8-9 in Two Years, second year
Sophomore year of high school: do Year 10
Junior year of high school: do Year 11
Senior year of high school: do Year 12

AmblesideOnline's free Charlotte Mason homeschool curriculum prepares children for a life of rich relationships with God, humanity, and the natural world.
