Most of the time, I use tapatalk for the forum. I often 'like' posts but the likes are never saved! It shows that I liked it after I click it, but if I go back to the thread later, it's gone. My stats say that I've 'liked' zero posts. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I've noticed that recently on my phone the drop-down menus on the website aren't staying in place so I can select an option.  Has anyone else seen this?  When did you notice that it changed?

A couple of people have reported problems opening our weekly schedules in the .doc and .odt file formats.  They download and open fine for me, so I need more information in order to figure out what's causing the problem.

Would you mind testing it and reporting back?  What browser are you using?  What operating system or platform are you on (Windows PC, Mac, Android, iPhone, etc.)?  Are you trying to open the file in Word or LibreOffice or some other software?

I am opening the file on a Windows 10 PC using Brave with LibreOffice.

I am having issues with the website.  I can't for the life of me get it to print. I can get other websites to print though.  If I try to print off of AO, it says that there is only one page to print-and it is a blank page.  It should be something like 10 pages with Y.7.  

Additionally, I can't copy and paste into a document off of AO, but can off of other websites.  
If I try to copy off of AO, the formatting shifts so that there is one or 2 letters per line.  If I copy off of other websites, it copies normally.

There seems to be a problem with the link or command or something with the Y7 links on this page https://amblesideonline.org/07sch.shtml 

When I double-click on the PDF link, it opens. But when I click on the DOC or DOT links, they don't open or download automatically. I was able to get them to work by right-click and "open link in new tab" but I couldn't get them to open otherwise.

Also, the first two terms do not have subject headings, just a list of book titles in the far left column. T3 does have the bold heading for Bible, History, Lit, Science, and Citz. In conjunction with the book list, I can figure it out, but it is helpful for those things to be clearly marked on the chart.

Is anyone else having a problem accessing the exam page? When I go to the exam page there's no scroll bar to go past the first page. If I try to print, it comes out blank. I've never had an issue before. I've tried to open using Chrome and Google. I've tried restarting my computer. Even tried on a different computer.

The cycle of AO Plutarch studies is complete. All the Plutarch Project books are in print, and the last three online studies will soon be posted on the website.

However, in reviewing the first few volumes published, it was pretty obvious that they could be improved: made easier to follow, with more background, "creative narration" suggestions, and examination questions (as in the later volumes). So I'm working on the Revised Edition of Volume One. When it comes out in January, the 2015 version will go out of print. The updated notes will also replace the existing online ones for Cato the Censor, Philopoemen, and Titus Flamininus.

I am planning updates also to Volumes Two and Three, to bring them more into the style of the later ones.  Watch for those by the end of 2021.There may be cosmetic changes to the later volumes (getting rid of the confusing brackets), but they won't be as major.

Each year at Christmas time, we close the forum and our other social media groups for posting (all contents are still available to read) to allow us all to rest and enjoy Christmas.  This year the forum will close on December 19 and reopen, as usual, on Charlotte Mason's birthday, January 1.  Other social media will remain closed until January 8.

December 18 will be our "Christmas party."

Is there a way to get notification when someone post a question? Like when FB sends a notification.

When I posted a question today in another area, I noticed I have two emojis next to my name of a face with a tongue sticking out. Is that something that the forum adds automatically? Or did I accidentally do it somehow? I don't see them when I go to my profile....

I was wanting to continue reading the thread on Answering the Cry, that was moved to Hot Topics, but when I click on the link that was posted, I get a message saying that I don't have permission. I am currently logged in, and everything else looks normal as far as I can tell. The forum really confuses me, at least on the tapatalk app, so maybe I've missed something. Can someone help me figure this out?

Our server is planning a routine update, which is why we rushed our forum update -- so it would be done before the server update. I don't when that will be, but they said to expect some down time. I expect it to be within a few days. If they let me know before they do it, I'll update this thread and thread title.

There's some routine forum maintenance that will almost certainly be happening today; it means the forum will be offline, though I'm not sure how long -- an hour? A couple hours?

I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but with Advisory/Auxiliary living all over the world, it's not always possible to plan a time in the wee hours of the morning when most people are sleeping.

I noticed a mum in Ireland asking on FB about a place to ask questions on the forum. I'm wondering if it would be appropriate to rename the United Kingdom thread in the International section to United Kingdom/Republic of Ireland? I imagine there is quite a bit of overlap and knowledge that could be shared between the two.

Also it says Elizabeth of Hungary had 4 children. My side reading about her only shows 3. So potential error there.
